The
winner of Miss Universe 2015 is Miss Philippines but before she was proclaimed
the as the title holder the MC committed an error by announcing Miss Columbia
as the winner. For this, Miss Universe execs apologized to Miss Columbia for wrong
announcement.

On
its Facebook website this was posted:
“The excitement of live TV is evident tonight on The Miss Universe stage with over 10 million fan votes tabulated. Unfortunately, a live telecast means that human error can come into play. We witnessed that tonight when a wrong winner was announced. Our sincerest apologies to Miss Universe Columbia, Miss Universe Philippines, their families and fans. We congratulate Miss Philippines as Miss Universe 2015."
Miss
Universe trended on Twitter as Netizens reacted to the incident:
Miss Colombia got her dream shattered
in front of the world and Miss Philippines didn't even get to enjoy and feel
the moment of winning. Both of these ladies deserves an apology because that
was embarrassing for both of them.
No one was clapping or waving to
Miss. Columbia. Then they announce Miss. Philippines won. An ,Hell everyone
went crazy. I knew it was her. He really didn't mess up. If you play it back he
said runner up who will fill in if Miss. Universe cannot.

Miss Philippines didn't get her shining moment and miss colombia thought she
won. but for everyone hating on the man who messed up don't. He obviously
didn't mean to and no one can imagine how awful he must feel. So please don't
make hate on anyone
Stop bashing Miss Philippines for
winning the crown. She is more deserving than Colombia. Pia is the highest in
Swimsuit and Evening Gown competition.

That was poorly handled. And both of
these gorgeous ladies deserve an apology because that was embarrassing for both
of them. I literally felt both of their pain. Congratulations to Miss
Philippines though. And go Miss Colombia! You're still beautiful.
Meanwhile Miss Columbia was asked how
she felt after the Miss Universe crown was taken back from her. She said:
“Everything happens for a reason, so I’m happy. Thank for voting for me…”
The poise and elegance of these
ladies make them truly worthy of the Miss Universe crown although not all of
them can win.
